🎃 Happy HAYloween from the Ranch!

The cottonwoods are golden, temps are dropping, and the herd is growing cozy winter coats. It’s a perfect time to schedule a ranch tour and meet the horses!

🌾 Hay Update

• Our longtime hay supplier, Dave, retired in July after a decade of delivering Colorado grass hay. We’re now sourcing hay from other suppliers which means higher costs and smaller/more frequent deliveries.

• Current goal: stock up 400 bales at $12.75 each = $5,100 before winter makes the barnyard hard to access.

💧 Water Well Issue

• Our water pump at the Peña Blanca ranch failed after replacement attempts ($400 spent). We’re calling in a well company to inspect and repair bit the cost is uncertain cost.

• You can help: donate $100 toward well repair via the “Buy Now” option.

🐴 Horse Care

• Senior horse Jordan has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. He needs a special diet and possible medication — we’re seeking a sponsor for his care.

🎁 Fundraising & Auction

• New auction items are available — your bids make a difference!

• Halloween-themed items: “Buy Now” to get them before the holiday.

• Nov 22-23 from 10am-4pm
• Placitas – six sites located on or near Highway 165

Our Happy Rascal Ranch booth will be at the Placitas Winery.

Equine Sound Bath

We are thrilled to be offering one of our sound baths at Happy Rascal Ranch on October 11th from 5-6pm.

Registration is OPEN!! – $55/person
